New Year’s Eve Ready

I cannot believe there is less than a week until 2018!

Even though I am headed north for a mini ski vacay for NYE, I wanted to inspire those who are adding a little sparkle to their last Sunday of 2017 in today’s post.

While I typically am terrible at recycling lewks – this is one I am willing to compromise on.

I am literally O B S E S S E D with this dress and I think it is oh so fitting for a New Year’s Eve party.

I wore it to an engagement party and am itching for another opportunity to wear it again. If I was staying in the city for a black tie event, this would be my outfit of choice!

Of course I’m never one to shy away from dainty details and adding a little extra to an already extra outfit, which I why I love these subtle gold accents, including my favorite piece as of late, this Michael Hill Crescent Pendant which is so on trend but soft enough to not overpower the dress.

If you can’t go gold on gold at New Year’s then when the F can you?!

Here are a few more of my fancy picks from Revolve (not sponsored, just love their sparkly selection):

  • This dress is similar to today’s picks with a slightly darker sparkle.
  • If you’re headed somewhere hot and feeling risque, then please rock this dress on my behalf.
  • I love this dress since it’s under $150 AND perfectly hides any holiday bloat you might’ve put on (just like I did).
  • Not sure why, but this dress gives me total Basic Instinct vibes. It looks nothing like the dress from the movie but I am here for it.
  • Finally, if you’re down for a itty bitty number with a pop of color, you need to check of this dress and this dress.

For those of you that will be like me and rocking the cozy chic look then don’t you worry because I have a few outfit ideas for you too.

Even though we’ll be up north and cabin styles, the night of New Year’s should still be celebrated in style so I will be looking to rock a little sweater dress which is cozy enough for the cabin but chic enough for the celebration.

Here are a few sweater dress options that are affordable and in style for the season –

I am here for this Dynamite sweater dress with the turtleneck sweater trim. It is SO flipping perfect for my evening and I can add leggings if it’s colder than I anticipate. Slap on my season’s go-to hairdo – a messy low pony – and I am effortlessly ready to ring in 2018!

And don’t worry, if you’re really feeling chill but are being forced to dress up, I also love this slouchy chenille Garage sweater dress since I can add the same gold dainty details from today’s pics and give it a little pizazz without compromising comfort.

No matter what you do to celebrate the New Year, I hope you know HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU. You guys mean so much to me and I am so grateful that I get to create content that inspires you and continues to keep our relationship game strong.

Here’s to the next year of posts, pictures and podcasts – THANK YOU for your constant support – this New Year’s Eve I will be celebrating all of you, xx!
